Sendai Airport is located in Miyagi Prefecture can open to international flights again on September 25th, after runway was closed for renovation, and several buildings were heavily damaged by the earthquake and tsunami in March over the past.

Asiana Airlines has offers flights between Sendai to Seoul in South Korea on the afternoon of September 25th, full passenger flights. The airline scheduled service three days a week during this period.

While Yoshihiro Murai, the governor of Miyagi Prefecture has expressed the hope that the airport is open again will help reinforce the Tohoku region and makes transportation of goods and people return to strong.
